And if you don’t believe us, just ask any hardcore Limited fan who’s been without their favorite brand
since that seemingly forever-ago 2012-13 NBA season.
The good news for those folks, of course, is that after a few years away, Panini America’s popular Limited franchis
is ready for a return engagement.
Due out in hobby shops across North America in mid-April, 2015-16 Limited
picks up right where Limited last left us bolstered
by true-to-its-name limited production run
and equipped with the autograph
and memorabilia content that has long made Limited a collector favorite.
On average, each hobby box of 2015-16 Limited Basketball (five cards per pack, one pack per box, 12 boxes per case)
will deliver three autograph or memorabilia cards, one base card and one insert or parallel.
While a familiar hobby name for many, 2015-16 Limited marks the brand's
return following a period of three years on the bench.

but the hit-centered product revolves around the more premium options.
Chief among these are the Rookie Jersey Autographs that cover 35 of the top rookie names with print runs of 99 or less.
Various Spotlight parallels include Gold, Hologold and Platinum. There are also Prime versions.
Other signed cards in the release include Limited Signatures and multi-player editions
in the form of Limited Dual Signatures and Limited Trio Signatures.
Echoing the Limited name, each of these signed cards are numbered to 99 or less.
Relics are also featured in 2015-16 Limited with a pair of die-cut jersey inserts showcasing a horizontal design
Team Trademarks and Material Monikers. Prime versions present quality swatches and more rarity.
Concentrating on the biggest names, All-Star Relics offer swatches from gear worn during the 2015 All-Star Game.
This includes oversized short swatches and one-of-one Prime Tag parallels that contain laundry tags.

and 2015-16 Limited could prove to be a fantastic comeback release due to what can be found in packs.
While its release date is not expected until mid-April, the five cards found inside may have made the wait
for its return to the hobby worthwhile.
Each pack will have one base card plus either an insert or parallel in addition to three autograph or memorabilia hits.
Base Set and Parallels :
Despite a lack of detailed information about the base set and its parallels at this time,
2015-16 Limited does live up to its name when it comes to the NBA’s brightest prospects.
Rookie Jersey Autograph cards will be produced for at least 35 first-year players and are numbered to 99 copies or less.
Parallel versions with patch pieces for the rookie cards are set to include Hologold, Platinum,
and Gold Spotlight themes and it is likely that others are going to be popping out of packs.
Autographs
Plenty of ink is destined to be discovered in 2015-16 Limited and each autograph card is numbered to 99 or less.
Among the themes unveiled in the company’s product information sheet were Limited Signatures,
Limited Dual Signatures, and Limited Trio Signatures.
Memorabilia
Collectors are about to get up close and personal with the sport’s top names when opening 2015-16 Limited .
Team Trademarks has jumbo pieces of memorabilia and the die-cut window spells out their club’s name.
Material Monikers is more themed around the player themselves, bearing either their nickname or team’s name in the die-cut area.
These and any other parts of the memorabilia card lineup are bound to have Prime versions that will be limited
and contain colorful jersey or patch swatches.
The most compelling memorabilia concept Panini announced for this product are the All-Star Shorts.
These items aren’t used as frequently by trading card makers in their products and the large pieces found
in these cards have come from the 2015 NBA All-Star Game.
Some collectors will pull a unique one-of-one parallel that has a piece of a laundry tag.
Inserts
Collectors looking for long-odds inserts in 2015-16 Limited can find what they are searching
for in Phenoms and Rookie Phenoms cards that are seeded once per case.
- Rookie Jersey Autographs from at least 35 of the NBA’s top prospects, numbered to 99 or less.
- Dual and Trio Signature cards featuring some of the league’s top rookies, stars and legends.
- All-Star Game-worn material returns with oversized shorts swatches from the 2015 NBA All-Star Game.
- Rare Phenoms and Rookie Phenoms that fall one per case on average.
- Jumbo memorabilia content in Team Trademarks featuring unique die-cuts of the featured player’s team name or nickname.
