2023 Panini Origins WNBA adds a new trading
card option for fans of the women's game.
The 10-card Hobby boxes average two autographs and one relic.
Although Panini Origins is appearing for the first time
in a WNBA release, many collectors are likely familiar
with the brand from other sports.

It also represents the first Panini WNBA product that stresses
traditional hits on its checklist and with its configuration.

Although very similar in look and feel, the approach
is a little different than NBA and NFL Origins releases.
Boxes here are a little bigger and lean a little more heavily into inserts.
Also, while rookies dominate other Origins sets,
it’s a more balanced approach here.

2023 Panini Origins WNBA Checklist Overview
Like all Origins base sets, its WNBA debut takes a somewhat abstract approach.
Players are cast in the cosmos and among the stars.
Parallels, which land two per hobby box, include Rainbow, Teal and Blue.
When it comes to hits, Jersey Autographs rank among the highlights.
These use an oversized swatch to go with the signature.
Origins Autographs take a broader approach over a specific theme
while Universal Autographs lean a little more into the space theme of the product.
Art Nouveau, typically a set found in Court Kings, makes the jump over
with a WNBA memorabilia makeover.
Other inserts are two per box. Among these, Splitting Image
and Roots of Greatness both have two players.
A couple of other short print insert sets are also on the checklist.
There’s a good chance that a certain song will start running
through many heads when a Tiger Eyes card is pulled.
Blank Slate and it minimalist approach makes its WNBA debut.
