You say you want a revolution? Well, you’re about to get one.

In late January, Panini America will introduce the all-new 2015-16 Panini Revolution , a creative addition
to the Panini America NBA portfolio that provides, according to the product’s just-released solicitation material,
“the wildest card set on the 2015-16 basketball calendar”

and “an old-school pack-opening experience with eye-popping inserts and parallels.”

Due out January 20, each box of 2015-16 Panini Revolution (five cards per pack, eight packs per box, 16 boxes per case)
will yield seven parallels, four Rookie Cards, three inserts and one card numbered to 100 or less.

Autographs will fall at least once in each eight-box inner case.

Additional highlights of the product include . . .

Look for super-short-printed Galactic base-set parallels that fall roughly once in every 240 packs.
An exciting insert lineup featuring the biggest and brightest stars in the NBA.

Every card in Panini Revolution is printed on mesmerizing foilboard

Look for Cosmic, Sunburst and Futura parallels numbered to 100 or less.

Find additional technology-driven inserts such as New Wave, Showstoppers and Rookie Revolution.
A limited autograph checklist featuring top rookies, veteran stars and retired legends.

A 150-card base set featuring 100 veterans and 50 rookies.

All cards feature vivid foil patterns that parallel out to different levels of rarity. Look for one Cosmic,
Sunburst or Futura parallel per box, all of which are sequentially numbered to 100 or less.

A new NBA option in the Panini arsenal of products, 2015-16 Panini Revolution features
a foil-centered look with a mix of background designs.

Boxes yield multiple parallels and inserts.

While the design is anything but subtle, Panini Revolution is a fairly simple release.

Totaling 150 cards, the base set includes 100 veterans and 50 rookies.

Among several foilboard parallels, Galactic are the most rare at 1:240 packs. Cosmic,
Sunburst and Futura are other options that combine to drop one per box.

While not the focus of the release, Autograph cards will average one per eight -box inner case
and include rookies and veterans.

Tweaking the base design, several inserts close out Panini Revolution with a few more choices.

Pas fan du tout, ça me fait penser aux bases de Paramount

Et j'ai du mal à croire aux inserts made in Panini ...

à voir de plus prés quand on les auras en main

Ce qui me decoit avec les collections panini c'est qu'il n'y a plus de decor d'interieur de stade en background dans leur set de regular dans 90% des sets

Je viens de remarquer que sur la plupart des cartes les joueurs sont en collant. C'est comme en natation quand ils portaient leur super combinaison
J'ai du mal à m'y faire, je préférai les short shorts

Après 100$ comme c'etait dit au dessus, je trouverais cela cher, étant donnée qu'il y a que 2 hits par CASE.
Dans les 45/50$ je trouverais cela raisonnable

Foil and old school fun is the focus of 2015-16 Revolution :

An old hobby favorite is returning to card stores on January 20 with 2015-16 Revolution .

With a focus on foil and somewhat of an old school approach, it may appeal to a new generation of collectors.

Nearly 20 years ago, Pacific Trading Cards attempted to push the limits of flashy foil technology
with Revolution releases in three different sports.

Since Panini owns the old Pacific brands, it was only a matter of time before the concept was dusted off
and given a modern update for its roundball debut.

With a greater emphasis on traditional collecting, collectors will manage to find plenty of parallels
and inserts with autographs being a long-odds chase.

Base Set

The original products were known for eye-catching base sets that were loaded up with foil
and 2015-16 Revolution stays true to that idea with a strong mix of 100 current NBA stars.

Each box will also contain four rookie cards and there are a total of 50 young prospects to collect.

Each card also has a foil pattern behind the player which come in several variations that are seeded at least seven times per box.

The parallels include Nova, Infinite, Angular, but there are some which are numbered to 100 copies
or less which are dubbed Cosmic (/100), Sunburst (/75), and Futura (/25).

The scarcest parallels are called Galactic and drop once in every 240 packs.

Inserts

Found at a rate of three per box of 2015-16 Panini Revolution Basketball, the inserts are going to be eye-catching.

Some of today’s burgeoning stars are found in New Wave while dominating forces are a part of Showstoppers.

Rookie Revolution will turn the spotlight on this year’s newest players.

Autographs

Adding to the throwback feel of 2015-16 Panini Revolution Basketball is the challenge of pulling an autograph.

Seeded once in every eight-box inner case, the company has announced a pair of autograph card collections in early promotional materials.

Legends and active stars are part of the Autographs collection while Rookie Autographs are all about the freshman crop.

Revolution Uncut - Panini America Offers an Early Look at 2015-16 Revolution :

Panini America Brand Manager Cory Hollingsworth stopped me in the hallway late last week and told me to stop by when I had a chance.

He had something cool to show me. So I intentionally wasted roughly five minutes (so as not to seem too anxious) and headed his way.

Turns out what he had to show me was pretty cool: Some of the early uncut sheets for the March-releasing 2015-16 Revolution .

As you’ll see in the gallery that follows, 2015-16 Revolution provides a unique parallel proposition steeped in both various versions
and dynamic foil effects. These particular sheets were so hot off the presses that they hadn’t yet received their UV coating.

But they’re certainly finished enough to give you an early idea of what you can expect
from the all-new 2015-16 Revolution Basketball.

We tip off the gallery with a breakdown of the set’s Rookie Cards and then follow
with a brief examination of some of the set’s insert cards and parallels.
