Others branch out in several directions,
creating something more eclectic.
That’s where 2020-21 Donruss cards stand.
The flagship-style release combines a robust base set,
several distinct inserts and some hits for good measure.
On the hobby side, it’s a jumbo format
with 30 cards per pack (ten packs per box).
There’s an autograph and memorabilia card
in each box plus a massive 60 combined inserts and parallels.
2020-21 Donruss Checklist Overview :
The base set is where veterans and rookies collide.
For first-year players, that means
the traditional Rated Rookie marker.
Parallels come in several levels and patterns.
Special Choice boxes have exclusive parallels
that have a background similar
to Panini’s Mojo pattern.
Of the ten cards in each of these boxes,
five are Choice Rated Rookies.
Three additional parallels can also be found.
Hobby is where Laser versions are available.
Over the past few years, Donruss has carved
out a niche with several standout insert sets.

Let's take a look at what we can expect this year because
it's gonna be more popular than ever
and before you read any more - Yes, the Marvels set is back for 2021!
You can expect to hit 1 autograph, 1 memorabilia
and 60 inserts/parallels per box, and in Donruss you're chasing:
- inserts like Net Marvels, Craftsmen, Zero Gravity,
The Rookies, Retro Series and Crunch Time!
- exclusive parallel content numbered
to as low as 1 like the Black Laser.
- autographs from the popular Rated Rookies
Signatures set, featuring the top rookies
from 2020 NBA Draft!
Crunch Time is back with another
cereal box-inspired group of cards.
Net Marvels, which resemble comic covers,
are also back. Both are exclusive to hobby packs.
Other hobby-only chase sets include Craftsmen,
Retro Series, The Rookies and Zero Gravity.
Rated Rookies Signatures are among
the headliners on the autograph front.
Carrying a design that’s similar
to the base Rookie Cards, these also have
several levels of parallels across hobby
and Choice configurations.
Choice Signatures, Hall Dominator Signatures
and Dominator Signatures are Choice-exclusives.

familiar NBA trading card products
are arriving a bit later than normal,
but collectors who prefer lower cost options
will see 2020-21 Donruss hit the floor before too long.
While a few details won’t be known until closer
to the February 7 release date, we do have
an overview of what
will be inside hobby boxes, courtesy of Panini America.
With no rookie photos available, last season’s class
is pictured on Donruss Rated Rookies
and other content but rest assured, things will be
updated when the product actually hits the market.
2020-21 Donruss Configuration and Base Set :

for 2020-21 Donruss contains the annual Rated Rookie subset.

In addition, Hobby has exclusive Laser parallels,
while Choice adds its own exclusive Choice parallels.
For the third straight year, hobby boxes of Donruss
are made up of fat packs–30 cards per pack
and ten packs per box (10 boxes will be in a case).
Each box should contain an average of one autograph,
one memorabilia card and 60 inserts
and parallels in addition to over 230 base cards.
There’s also a Donruss Choice configuration
in the works, with a single ten-card pack per box.
Each box of Choice will have two autographs,
five Rated Rookies Choice and three parallels.
Choice cases will have ten boxes.
There will undoubtedly be blaster boxes produced
again as well, designed for distribution to big box stores.
Panini hasn’t released the number of base cards
in the set, but there were 250 last season.
There will be plenty of parallels to the base set,
some numbered as low as 1/1 like Black Laser.
Choice will have its own lineup of parallel content.
2020-21 Donruss Configuration Inserts
Be on the lookout for several
Hobby-only inserts in 2020-21 Donruss .
The selection includes Craftsmen, Crunch Time,
Net Marvels, Retro Series, The Rookies and Zero Gravity.
If you like inserts that are a little different
and lighthearted, Donruss serves up cereal boxes
and comic books in Crunch Time and Net Marvels.
The Rookies will be exclusive to hobby boxes.
Craftsmen, Zero Gravity and Retro Series
will be among the other insert sets.
2020-21 Donruss Configuration Autographs
Hits supply the remainder of the cards
in the 2020-21 Donruss checklist.
The Rated Rookies Signatures line naturally
highlights the 2020 NBA Draft class.
Once again, Hobby is the place to find exclusive Laser versions,
and Choice is home to the exclusive Choice editions.
Those buying Choice boxes can also find exclusive
Choice Signatures, Dominators Signatures
and Hall Dominators Signatures cards and parallels.
There will be autographed versions
of the base cards and base parallels.
Rated Rookie Autographs are among the most
popular cards in Donruss and they’ll return
in 2020-21, with Choice versions
exclusive to that product.

Donruss takes to the hardwood with a familiar approach
for the brand but with a new crop of Rookie Cards
(last-year's players used in mocks),
new Net Marvels and more.
The Basics :
Packs will contain 30 cards this time around
and boxes will include a total of 60 inserts
and parallel cards just like last year.
The base set size was not announced
and the parallel lineup was not detailed
in full, either, but there will be Red and Gold Laser
parallels for starters and 1/1 Black Lasers.
Rated Rookies Signatures will be found
with Black Laser, Blue Laser
and Gold Laser parallels
(all hobby-only and, again, last year's players are shown on the mocks here).
Among inserts will be Crunch Time, Net Marvels,
The Rookies, Craftsmen, Zero Gravity and Retro Series.
The 30-card packs will carry a suggested retail price of $10 ($100 per box).
